As I mentioned in my last post, this weekend I went to Munich to not only visit my family and friends, but also to attend my first ever Blogger meeting. I really didn’t know what to expect, so I went there quite unprepared. Well, luckily not that unprepared as I very hastily printed some self-made business cards just an hour before I left the house. I remembered that I read on a post somewhere that you should have some at hand. My boyfriend was actually making fun of me and my little cards, but what can I tell you, the first question I got was the name and address of my blog and whether I had a card! HA. Ok, maybe mine didn’t look as professional as those of the others… but at least I was not completely unprepared only a bit unprofessional maybe 😉 Next time I will know better!
First obstacle solved, next one was to actually arrive there… easier said as done as it was years ago when I was in Munich. As I had no internet on my mobile phone in Germany I was running around like a headless chicken for about half an hour until I finally found my destination! Puuhh, so finally I could dive into my first blogger meeting and get seated.
I immediately met a very nice blogger colleague with whom I chatted for quite a while, go and visit her if you like everything baking, cooking and sewing 😀 I also met Iris from Brave Flower who owns this amazing online shop. After a light dinner we decided to get a bit mixed up to get to know even more people and I ended up next to Fanny, a super creative and lively girl which you will see no doubt by yourself when visiting her blog. Christel from Pomponetti actually impressed me a lot, she makes her own glass pearls and jewelry! Just look at her online store and be fascinated, not only by what she does but also by who she is. You see I actually didn’t meet a lot of baking blog colleagues but everyone nevertheless was super creative and nice. I also quickly met Meli and Tanja but honestly, there where 30 people at this blogger meeting and not enough time to talk to everyone or to get to know everyone! It is a shame as I am quite sure that I missed out a lot of nice people…
Have you ever been on a Blogger Meeting? Would you like to go to one?
I especially wanna thank Saskia, Eva and Anja for organizing this blogger meeting and providing us even with a Goodie bag! I have now a lot of small gifts and vouchers rom great online stores like Geliebtes Zuhause, Verspieltes, Kukuwaja and Miss Etoile. I cant wait to browse though all of them!
Hopefully I will meet even more interesting and sweet blogger colleagues in the future! And to all of you who I couldn’t talk to in person this weekend, maybe we will see us next year 😉 Have a great week and Thanks!
